It was amazing to see building disapear in the smog. This was one of our last days and is the last photo of our amazing March holiday. :)  

The entrance to the zoological park. We got stuck in this park and it poured for like an hour. 

This photo was for my Mum as she's obsessed with taking photos of weddings when she's away. I took this picture as 5 brides were getting married in the gardens! 

The fish street up near the Ladies Market was amazing. I think we spent the whole morning looking in all the fish shops.  

One of the many ferry's. It was so cheap to get from one side to the other. This was our first day in Honkers and it was the clearest even though it looks really smoggy. 

Our last part of our trip!! Honkers!!! I loved Hong Kong it was safe, easy to get around and great food and shopping! I love this piccie of Andi doing the Bruce Lee pose along the Avenue of Stars. Once he did this it set off a chain reaction of everyone else doing it! Someone later on asked for a photo with him. 

This is overlooking Tokyo and if you squint really hard you can see a peak of snow and that is Mt Fuji! ;) 

Tokyo Tower... it was very daggy inside... but great views! 

My mind has gone blank... I'm thinking Shibuya but I can't remember... Good shopping around this area! 

Haven't updated in ages. I didn't want to get too close to this lake near the zoo... you know because of bird flu and all that. I think it's great photo that Andy took! 

Otters........... how cute is he!! 

Yahh... the panda and I lucked him when he was awake!  

Tokyo, Ueno Zoo. I love zoo's and I couldn't miss a visit to Ueno to see the panda. 

Kyoto.. the ToRi gates.. we did a few walks but we had our luggage with us as we couldn't work the lockers at the train station. 

Kyoto. Our last day and it was a bit warmer but still freezing we went to a place to see the ToRi gates.  

Kyoto. We went for a rikshaw and our guide happened to know where Tassie was........ and used to work at Suush in Hobart! He was a dude! I stayed nice and warm with the seat warmer and the blanky! 

Kyoto. Beautiful little streets. It was soo cold below 0 degrees and we both didn't have gloves or warm jackets. 

Kyoto. Lantern festival, this shot didn't come out really well but it was such a beautiful night with a full moon.  

Kyoto, Tojji Temple This is the family of cats. We stood and watched them for awhile and they had a few fights! 

Kyoto, Tojji Temple At the entrance to the temple was a family of cats. People were patting this white cat who seemed the friendliest. 

Kyoto, Tojji Temple. This temple was pretty amazing you can't go into it but it's very tall. 

Kyoto, Nijjo Castle This is looking down on the castles from a lookout. We went into the castle that you can see and went upstairs it was freezing I don't know how people would of coped living in it. 

Kyoto, Nijjo Castle. The grounds of the castle were pretty cool with the big pond and waterfall. 

Kyoto, Nijjo Castle. It was freezing the day we went to the castle but it was one of my favourite days. The castle was amazing I especially liked the nightingale floors that squeaked to warn intruders. We weren't allowed to take photo's of the artwork on the walls inside but it was amazing that most of it had been preserved. This photo is the outside of one of the castles. 

This is a really blurry picture and I wanted to take it home but thought I better not. It's got this picture of a squirrel with a plastic bag over its head and it shows steps how to put a plastic bag over your head. I thought it was weird but pratty worked out that if there was a fire then you would get as much fresh air as you could in the bag and then get to the quickest exit.
